Camp Becket is a boys summer camp located in the Berkshires region of western Massachusetts, United States. The camp was founded in 1903 by George W. and William F. Doughty. It is situated on 1,200 acres of woodland and features a 100-acre lake for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Camp Becket offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, archery, arts and crafts, and team sports like soccer, baseball, and basketball. The camp also promotes character development and leadership skills through programs such as the "Becket Code" which teaches campers values like respect, responsibility, and empathy.
Camp Becket has a long and storied history, with alumni including Robert F. Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, and George H.W. Bush. The camp's motto is "Making Boys Stronger in Mind, Body, and Spirit."
